Why choose Direct Primary Care?

Think of DPC as Doctor-Patient Care.

You, me and your child, that's it!

More TIME with the Doctor

Direct care pediatricians have smaller patient loads than traditional pediatricians, so they can spend more time with each patient. I timed my visits with families for the first 6 months of my practice and my average visit time is 53 minutes! This means that I get to know your child, your family ideals and how you like your child cared for. With more TIME, we can develop a personalized treatment plan for your child.

CONVENIENCE

I offer same-day appointments, unlimited visits, and direct access to me, your child's doctor. This means that you can get the care your child needs when you need it. Communication is CONVENIENT with text, call and email options. Questions don't need to pile up-- awaiting the next scheduled well care.  Sick visits can happen when you need them and help avoid urgent care and the emergency room.

Did I forget to mention that I'm coming to your home?

Now that is CONVENIENT.

Lower COST

DPC typically offers lower costs than traditional healthcare. Patients pay a monthly membership fee which covers a variety of services, including office visits, basic laboratory tests, and referrals. There are no hidden costs or unexpected fees. The COST of membership includes it all!!

This can be particularly beneficial for families who pay high insurance deductibles or have limited insurance coverage including health-sharing plans. Did you know in the first two years of life we can expect on average one illness monthly? There are also 10 recommended well care visits in the first two years. All those visits really add up in a fee for service model.
